Where and what

The funding-source combobox sits in the Data page's header bar. The badge reads included / total — “16/17” means one source is excluded. Open it for per-source checkboxes with ride counts, plus Select all / Deselect all. Matching is on the funding source name as displayed on the trip.

The most important sentence in this guide

Excluding a funding source does not remove those trips from the solve. They stay in, come out unassigned under manual-dispatch deferred, and the unassigned panel becomes the dispatcher's hand-dispatch worklist. Assigned + unassigned always equals loaded — nothing is ever silently gone.

Exclusions are part of the date's shared pre-solve scope: your colleagues see the same 16/17 within seconds, and every solve of the date honours it until someone changes it.

Why whole days get deferred, not single legs

Funding is recorded per leg, and CSRs routinely relabel one leg of a journey to the billable source. If exclusion matched legs alone, half a journey would be deferred and the other half scheduled — an outbound with no return. So an exclusion expands to the whole journey: the rider's other legs that day, legs sharing the vehicle, and hard-paired partners all defer together.

So this is not a bug

Excluding one source and watching trips from other sources land in the unassigned list is the journey expansion working. The rider whose one leg is “PAIRED UP TRIPS” gets their whole day dispatched by hand, which is the only version of the day that makes operational sense.

Working the deferred list

Exclude the source → Solve → unassigned panel → filter by that funding source → hand-dispatch each in MediRoutes

On the solve screen, the unassigned panel's funding-source filter narrows to the deferred source — that filtered view is the hand-dispatch worklist, with the full trip details you need to enter each one in MediRoutes yourself.
