Reading the annotation layer

Two amber marks, two meanings - they are not decoration:

cursor = what you act on ring = what changed as a result

Groups and attributes

Groups are dispatcher-defined collections of vehicles (e.g. "NW Fleet", "School Runs"). They are used to filter the table and to target optimization runs at a subset of the fleet. A vehicle can belong to up to 4 groups.
Vehicle Attributes (LIFT, AWD, RAMP) are constraint tags the optimizer reads. When a trip requires LIFT, only vehicles carrying that attribute are eligible. Attributes live on the vehicle, not the group.

What's simulated here

A hand-built reproduction, not a screenshot and not the live components. Field order, labels and the sheet chrome match the running app; these are the deliberate simplifications:

The toolbar shows 4 of its 6 filter controls - enough to establish the layout, with none invented.
The vehicle table is a 3-row placeholder. The real table has sortable columns, pagination and inline group chips.
The sheet's Group and Attribute pickers are shown as static chips rather than searchable combo-boxes.
Names, plates, VINs and regions are invented. No real fleet data appears anywhere on this page.
Only the controls used by this walkthrough respond. Everything else is inert.
