What you see

The Vehicles tab is a table of every vehicle in your fleet. Each row shows:

Columns in the Vehicles table
Column	What it shows
Unit	The vehicle's short name (e.g. V-107)
Type	Vehicle type (Van, Sedan, SUV, etc.)
Status	Active or Inactive
Capacity	Wheelchair + ambulant seat count
Region	Which region the vehicle is assigned to
Groups	Up to 4 group badges
Plate	License plate number
VIN	Vehicle identification number

Above the table you will find the same toolbar you see on other Fleet pages: a search box, filter controls, a column-visibility menu, sort options, and pagination at the bottom.

Adding a vehicle

Click Add Vehicle in the top-right corner. A creation form opens with the following fields:

Add Vehicle form with required fields filled in and LIFT attribute toggled on. The "More details" section is collapsed. Simulated view, mock data.

Required fields

Three fields are required: Unit Name, License Plate, and Vehicle Type. Everything else is optional but worth filling in while you have the paperwork handy.

Vehicle attributes

The attribute buttons (LIFT, AWD, RAMP) are toggle buttons. Click one to turn it on (it highlights); click again to turn it off. These tags tell the scheduler what special capabilities the vehicle has. For example, a trip that requires a wheelchair lift will only be assigned to vehicles with the LIFT attribute enabled.

Capacity

Enter two numbers: the wheelchair seat count and the ambulant (walk-on) seat count. The scheduler uses these to make sure a vehicle is not overloaded when assigning trips.

More details

Click the More details section to expand it. This is where you enter the VIN, make, model, and year. These fields are not required, but the VIN must be unique if you do enter one.

Opening a vehicle

Click any row to open the vehicle detail sheet. This is the same sheet described in the Vehicle Detail Sheet guide, focused on the vehicle's properties. From there you can view and edit every aspect of the vehicle: schedule, funding, credentials, equipment, maintenance, and incidents.

Vehicles tab vs. Fleet tab

The Fleet tab shows vehicles with their assigned drivers and schedule summaries stacked together. The Vehicles tab strips that away and shows the vehicle records on their own. Use the Fleet tab when you are thinking about who drives what. Use the Vehicles tab when you are focused on the vehicles themselves: adding new ones, checking plates and VINs, or reviewing equipment tags.

Tip

Both tabs open the same detail sheet. If you click V-107 in the Fleet tab and then click V-107 in the Vehicles tab, you land on the same Overview with the same seven tabs.
