What you're looking at

The Schedule Board is the fourth tab on the Fleet page. It shows a week at a glance: rows are driver-vehicle assignments, columns are days of the week (Sunday through Saturday). Each cell tells you what's happening that day for that assignment.

Reading the cells

Cell appearance	Meaning
6:00a–6:00p	Normal shift window for that day
Off	Exception: driver or vehicle is completely unavailable
8:00a–4:00p	Modified window exception: working different hours (shown in amber)
–	Not scheduled that day (regular day off per weekly pattern)
Out of service	Vehicle is marked out of service
6:00p–6:00a +1d	Overnight shift: ends the following day

Navigation and filtering

Prev and Next buttons step one week at a time. The Today button jumps back to the current week.
The search bar filters rows by driver name or vehicle name. Start typing and the grid narrows instantly.
The axis toggle switches between two views:
- Drivers groups rows by driver (each row shows the driver and their assigned vehicle).
- Vehicles groups rows by vehicle (each row shows the vehicle and its assigned driver).

The coverage footer

Below the grid, daily totals show a quick health check for each day:

On -- how many drivers/vehicles are scheduled and available
Off -- how many have an "Off" exception
Modified -- how many are working non-standard hours
Total hours -- sum of all scheduled hours for the day

Use this to spot thin days early. If Wednesday shows 3 off and you're expecting a full load, you know to plan ahead.

Clicking to act

Click a cell

Opens the Add Schedule Exception dialog, pre-filled with that row's driver/vehicle and that column's date. From there you can mark them off or set modified hours. See the Schedule Exceptions guide for details.

Click a row label

Opens the full detail sheet for that vehicle or driver, depending on which axis view you're in. From the detail sheet you can edit schedules, view exceptions, check funding sources, and more.

Bulk Exception

The Bulk Exception button in the toolbar lets you add the same exception to multiple drivers or vehicles at once. Useful for company-wide closures, weather days, or any situation where several people are affected at the same time.

How to think about this view

The Schedule Board is a read-and-act surface. You're not editing schedules cell by cell. You're scanning the week, spotting gaps or conflicts, and clicking where you need to make a change. The board itself doesn't hold schedule data -- it reflects the weekly patterns and exceptions you've set up elsewhere, all in one place.

Start-of-week routine

Open the Schedule Board on Monday morning. Scan the week for red (Off) and amber (Modified) cells. Check the coverage footer for any days that look thin. Click any problem spots to add or adjust exceptions before the day arrives.
