What is Fleet Management?

Fleet Management is the section of the app where you set up and maintain your fleet. That means your vehicles, the drivers assigned to them, and when those drivers work. Everything the scheduling engine needs to know about your fleet starts here.

The core building block is the roster entry: one driver assigned to one vehicle with a weekly schedule. A vehicle with two drivers has two roster entries. When you hear "roster," think "who drives what, and when."

The stats bar

At the top of the page you will see a row of summary tiles. They give you a quick snapshot of your fleet without scrolling.

Total Vehicles counts every vehicle record, active or inactive.
Active Drivers shows drivers currently available, plus how many of those are not yet assigned to a vehicle.
Vehicle Groups shows group count and how many regions they span.

The seven tabs

Below the stats bar you will find a row of tabs. Not every tab appears for every company; some depend on your account settings.

Tab	What it shows	When you use it
Fleet	The roster table: every vehicle with its assigned drivers and schedule summaries	Your daily starting point. Check assignments, add new roster entries, click into vehicle details.
Vehicles	All vehicle records with type, status, capacity, and attributes	When you need to add, edit, or deactivate a vehicle.
Drivers	All driver profiles with license info, contact details, and default availability	When you need to add a new driver or update their information.
Schedule	A weekly board showing all roster entries laid out by day	When you want to see the whole week at a glance and spot coverage gaps.
Vehicle Groups	Named groups you can assign vehicles to (for filtering and reporting)	When you need to organize vehicles into logical groups like "Denver AM" or "Pueblo Lifts."
Fleet Map	A map view showing vehicle home locations	When you want a geographic view of where your fleet is based.
Compliance	Credential tracking and expiration alerts	When you need to check which drivers or vehicles are missing required credentials. May not be visible if compliance is not enabled for your account.

Quick orientation

If you are new, here is the short version of where to go:

Start on the Fleet tab

This is the main roster view. Each row is a vehicle, and underneath it you see its assigned drivers with their weekly schedules. This is where you will spend most of your time.
Use Vehicles and Drivers for record-keeping

Need to add a new van or update a driver's license number? The Vehicles and Drivers tabs are your record books. Changes here flow into the Fleet tab automatically.
Check the Schedule tab for weekly coverage

The Schedule tab lays out the full week so you can see who is working when. It is the best way to spot a day with no coverage or find out which driver is available on Saturday.

Tip

You can create a vehicle, a driver, and their roster assignment all at once using the New Roster Entry wizard on the Fleet tab. You do not need to visit three different tabs.
