Opening the wizard

Click New Roster Entry in the top-right corner of the Fleet tab. A side panel slides open with two sections: the vehicle and the driver assignments.

Step by step

Pick or create a vehicle

The Vehicle dropdown lists your existing vehicles. Start typing to search. If the vehicle does not exist yet, click Create New to build one right here.

When creating a new vehicle you will fill in: name, license plate, vehicle type, region, status, vehicle groups, capacity (wheelchair + ambulatory seats), attributes like LIFT, AWD, or RAMP, and optionally the VIN, make, model, and year.
Add driver assignments

Below the vehicle section you will see the driver assignments area. You can add up to 4 drivers per vehicle. Each driver row has three parts: the employee picker, the home address, and the weekly schedule.
Select or create each driver

Use the employee picker to search by name, or click Create New to add a new driver profile on the spot. Once you pick a driver, their home address fills in automatically from their profile.
Set the weekly schedule

The schedule editor shows seven days (Mon through Sun). Toggle each day on or off, and set the start and end time for the days the driver works. When you first select a driver, the schedule pre-fills from their default availability, so you only need to adjust what is different for this vehicle.
Submit

Click Create Roster Entry at the bottom. The system creates the vehicle (if it is new), creates any new driver profiles, and sets up the roster assignments. The new entry appears in the fleet table right away.

Home address

When you select a driver, their home address fills in from their profile. You can edit it here if this vehicle starts from a different location. A small map preview shows the address so you can confirm it looks right.

Schedule pre-seeding

The weekly schedule starts with the driver's default availability. If a driver's profile says they work Monday through Friday, 06:00 to 14:00, those days and times pre-fill automatically. You can adjust them for this specific assignment without changing the driver's defaults.

Tip

You do not have to add a driver right away. If you only need to register a new vehicle, pick or create the vehicle and submit without adding any driver assignments. You can always assign drivers later from the vehicle detail sheet.

What happens when you submit

Clicking Create Roster Entry does everything in one go:

Creates the vehicle record (if you chose "Create New")
Creates any new driver profiles (if you chose "Create New" for any driver)
Creates the roster assignments linking each driver to the vehicle with their schedule

The panel closes and the new vehicle appears in the Fleet table immediately. You can click it to verify everything looks right.

Watch out

Each vehicle name must be unique. If you try to create a vehicle with a name that already exists, the wizard will ask you to pick a different name. The same applies to VINs: no two vehicles can share one.
