What the map shows

The Fleet Map tab shows garage locations for your vehicles on an interactive map. A vehicle's "garage" is the home address of its assigned driver. This is where the vehicle starts and ends each day, and it's what the scheduling engine uses to calculate drive times.

The map gives you a bird's-eye view of your fleet's geographic spread. You can spot clusters, find gaps in coverage, and see which areas have the most vehicles nearby.

View modes

Three toggle options control how vehicles appear on the map:

Mode	What you see	Good for
Off	No markers. The map is blank.	Clearing the view to focus on the base map
Dots	One dot per vehicle, color-coded by region	Seeing exactly where each vehicle is garaged and which region it belongs to
Heatmap	Density overlay showing clusters of vehicles	Spotting areas with heavy or thin coverage at a glance

Start with dots, switch to heatmap for big fleets

Dots mode works well when you have a few dozen vehicles. Once you're past 50 or so, dots start overlapping and the heatmap gives you a clearer picture of coverage patterns.

Hovering over a dot

In Dots mode, hover over any marker to see a popup with the vehicle's unit name and its full garage address. This is a quick way to confirm which vehicle lives where without opening the detail sheet.

The info panel

The info panel alongside the map shows a coverage summary, like "42 of 50 vehicles mapped." If the numbers don't match, the panel tells you why with diagnostic warnings:

Diagnostic warnings
Warning	Meaning	How to fix
N with address but no coordinates	The driver has a home address on file, but it hasn't been geocoded yet (turned into map coordinates).	This usually resolves on its own. If it persists, re-save the driver's address.
N with no home address	The driver assigned to this vehicle doesn't have a home address in their profile.	Edit the driver's profile and add their home address.
N with no driver assigned	The vehicle has no roster entry -- no driver is assigned to it.	Assign a driver to the vehicle from the Fleet roster.

This is a read-only view

You can't drag vehicles around on the map or edit locations from here. The map reflects data that lives elsewhere:

To change a vehicle's garage location, edit the assigned driver's home address in their profile, or in the Assign Driver panel.
To add a missing vehicle to the map, assign a driver who has a home address on file.

No address, no map pin

A vehicle only appears on the map if it has an assigned driver whose profile includes a home address. If either piece is missing, the vehicle won't show up, and the info panel will tell you which piece is missing.
